Empowering vulnerable kids through Play, Learn and Thrive by promoting: Education, Health Care, Life Skills, Agribusiness and empowerment projects that reduce food insecurity through Sports.
Ong'icha Soccer Academy (OSA) was founded in 2021 by Zachary Obiero with a simple but powerful vision: to rescue children from vulnerability and give them hope through football, education, and love. What began as a small initiative has now emerged into a vibrant community of empowerment projects, transforming lives and nurturing the potential of children across our region. In a community where poverty, school dropouts, early pregnancies, drug abuse, and neglect threaten the future of many children, OSA has become a safe haven where dreams can thrive. Using football as a tool, we go beyond the game—mentoring, supporting education, advocating for human rights, and including children with disabilities. Our mission is to nurture discipline, confidence, and purpose, helping every child realize their full potential. Our success is not measured by trophies alone but by the lives we touch: children returning to school, girls empowered and protected, talents discovered, and families strengthened. Every smile, every goal scored, and every child who believes in a brighter future is proof of what is possible when compassion meets commitment. Today, OSA stands strong thanks to faith, community support, and partners who believe that every child deserves a chance. This is our story—and we are only just beginning.
OSA uses football as a doorway to teach discipline, teamwork, and leadership, while supporting school attendance, nutrition, mental health, and agribusiness skills.
To build a generation of young people who Play, Learn and Thrive — empowered through education, health care, life skills, agribusiness, and community-driven projects.
Ong’icha Soccer Academy (OSA) Kenya exists to empower children and youth through football by developing talent, supporting education and life skills, promoting health and discipline, and safeguarding human rights—including equality, dignity, child protection, inclusion of children with disabilities, and equal opportunity—using sport as a tool for positive social change in our community.
We build strong, supportive networks with families, schools, partners, and the broader community.
Community Empowerment
Since our founding in the Year 2021, we have focused on tangible results. We don't just talk about change; we grow it in our gardens and build it on our fields.

Future Leaders
Invest in a transformation that lasts a lifetime. To succeed in the modern world, our youth need more than talent—they need tools. Your partnership delivers a comprehensive educational ecosystem: covering school fees, providing high-nutrition meals for focus, and supplying the digital tools and mentorship required to excel. Together, let's build a foundation strong enough to support their biggest dreams.
Community Health

Administrative Hub
Future Building
A dedicated office building is essential for operational stability, secure storage of records, hosting partner meetings, and providing a safe space for administrative work. This transition from a home-based office will unlock new levels of professionalism and grant eligibility.
Need: We require funds to purchase a small plot of land adjacent to the school for the official OSA administrative headquarters.
Inclusion Program Launch
Upcoming Impact
We believe disability is not inability. Our upcoming "Ability in Disability" program aims to adapt our football and education activities to include children with special needs and physical challenges.
Why this matters: Children with disabilities in our community often face stigma and isolation. We plan to create a safe space for therapy, play, and social integration.
